What you need to know for the week of August 10 - August 16

I-5 Seattle to Everett roadwork

 

  • Friday, August 14 to the morning of Saturday, August 15 – The left three lanes of southbound I-5 between 45th Street and Boylston will close from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Saturday, August 15 to the morning of Sunday, August 16 – The right three lanes of southbound I-5 between 45th Street and Boylston will close from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Saturday, August 15 to the morning of Sunday, August 16 – The 45th Street on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Saturday, August 15 to the morning of Sunday, August 16 – The southbound I-5 Roanoke Street off-ramp will close from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

SR 18

  • Monday, Aug. 10, to the morning of Friday, Aug. 14 - Westbound SR 18 between I-90 and Issaquah-Hobart Road will close from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly. 

SR 99

  • Sunday, Aug. 9, to the morning of Friday, Aug. 14 - Northbound SR 99 between the First Avenue South on-ramp and the South Michigan Street off-ramp will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly. 
  • Thursday, Aug. 13, to the morning of Friday, Aug. 14 - The southbound SR 99 tunnel  will close from 10:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

SR 203

  • Until further notice: A full closure of SR 203 between  mileposts 13.4 and 13.6 will require drivers to use a signed detour.

Mountain passes

  • SR 410 and SR 123, Cayuse and Chinook passes are open for the season.
  • People in vehicles can drive SR 542 as far east as the Terminal Lake parking lot. Crews will let the last 1.8 miles to Artist Point melt on its own. Based on the current snowpack, this remaining stretch of road is expected to melt out in August.
