Kitsap County

Description: Crews will install permanent lane lines on SR 3 including the ramps to and from Northwest Finn Hill Road and SR 305.
Work Schedule: See below: 

7 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 1-5 to 7 a.m. each following day. 

  • Ramp closures at one interchange at a time. Travelers will detour via the adjacent ramp. 

Over two nights between Monday and Friday, June 1-5

  • Northbound SR 3 will be reudced to one lane and that one lane will be detourted through the ramps.
  • Southbound SR will be reudced to one lane and that one lane will be detourted through the ramps.

Description: One-way alternating traffic for installation of permanent lane lines. 
Work Schedule: 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 8-12 to 7 a.m. each following day. 

Highway: SR 304 Region: Olympic County: Kitsap Location: Milepost(s) 1.7 to 2.6

Description: Single-lane closures for installation of permanent lane markings. 
Work Schedule: 10 p.m. each weekday from Wednesday, June 3 to Tuesday, June 9 until 6 a.m. each following day. 

Highway: SR 305 Region: Olympic County: Kitsap Location: Milepost(s) 6.8 to 7.1

Description: Crews will paint the SR 305 Agate Pass Bridge. 
Work Schedule: See below:

  • Travelers using the State Route 305 Agate Pass Bridge are encouraged to plan ahead to help prevent delays.
  • Travelers can expect one-way alternating traffic on the bridge from 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday to 11 a.m. each following day.
  • Travelers crossing the bridge can expect 15-minute delays.

Even as traffic volumes are reduced amid the governor’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy order, WSDOT needs your help.

  • Add extra travel time when crossing the bridge during work hours
  • Travel early in the morning or later at night

The daytime work will continue until further notice as conditions allow.

Around the clock through Oct. 31

  • The speed limit is reduced to 35 mph.
  • One sidewalk is open.
  • Legal loads only, 105,500 max gross vehicle weight. No over legal axle weight.

Description: One-way alternating traffic for asphalt repair. 
Work Schedule: 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 1-4. 

US 101 - Coffee Creek - Remove Fish Barrier

Description:  Crews are building a new alignment for Coffee Creek as part of a WSDOT fish barrier removal project.

Shelton-Matlock Road 

  • Travelers on Shelton-Matlock Road approaching US 101 are using a temporary two-lane bypass road around the work zone. Travelers can expect a reduced speed limit to 25 mph and occasional traffic stops of up to 15 minutes during work hours, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The bypass road will allow crews to build a new stream channel and install an approximately 96-foot-long box culvert to eventually connect a realigned Coffee Creek under the Shelton-Matlock Road. The channel will link to a replicated natural streambed, which was previously built between Shelton-Matlock Road and the area approaching Goldsborough Creek.
  • ​Crews expect to fully reopen the Shelton-Matlock Road by mid-summer.
